Planika Fires' BEV (Burning Ethanol Vapours) Technology

Planika Fires' BEV technology represents a patented breakthrough in the realm of bioethanol fireplaces, offering significant advantages over traditional models. Below are the standout features of this innovative technology:

No Direct Flame Contact: Utilising a specialized fuel container, BEV technology ensures that the fuel remains separate from the flame, enhancing both safety and efficiency by eliminating direct contact.
Enhanced Fuel Efficiency: The technology generates a consistent and efficient flame, requiring less fuel to achieve the desired heat output, making it a cost-effective and eco-friendly choice.
Zero Emissions: BEV technology stands out for its zero emissions, providing a cleaner and more sustainable heating alternative. It produces no soot, smoke, or ash, thus eliminating the need for extra ventilation or cleaning.
Automatic Fuel Regulation: Equipped with an automatic fuel control system, BEV technology precisely manages the fuel flow, ensuring safe and efficient operation while minimizing fuel wastage.
Convenient Remote Control: With the included remote control, users can effortlessly adjust the flame height and temperature, creating the perfect ambiance in any room from the comfort of their couch.

In essence, Planika Fires' BEV technology offers an innovative and eco-friendly heating solution for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Its high fuel efficiency, automatic control features, and remote accessibility provide a safe, efficient, and customisable heating experience for any home.

Company Background

Planika Fires is a world-leading supplier of modern fireplaces, with a mission to provide customers with innovative and stylish fireplace solutions that are eco-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Planika Fires has established itself as a trusted brand in the industry. Their dedication to excellence is evident in every fireplace they create, making them a top choice for those seeking both beauty and functionality in their home heating solutions.

Commitment to Innovation

At Planika Fires, they are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in fireplace technology. Their team of experts is constantly working to develop new and improved products that meet the evolving needs of their customers. From electric fireplaces to bioethanol fireplaces, they strive to make their products more efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly. This commitment to innovation ensures that their fireplaces not only provide warmth and comfort but also enhance the aesthetic appeal of any space.

Planika Bioethanol Fireplaces Have a Long Burn Time

Planika has engineered a unique combustion technology for their automatic burners, ensuring that Planika's automatic bioethanol fireplaces are among the market leaders in terms of the longest burning time per litre of bioethanol. This technology is known as BEV, which guarantees no direct contact between the bioethanol and the flames, thereby providing safe combustion without emitting odour, smoke, or ash. This ensures that you enjoy safe and clean flames.

Safety in mind

Planika Fires' fireplaces are also designed with safety in mind. Many of their models are equipped with automatic sensors that monitor the temperature and fuel levels to ensure that the fireplace operates safely and efficiently. Additionally, their fireplaces are designed with high-quality materials, such as tempered glass and stainless steel, to provide durability and reliability over the long term.

Ease of installation

Many of Planika Fires’ fireplaces are easy to install and maintenance-free, requiring minimal setup. Unlike traditional wood-burning fireplaces, which require a chimney or venting system, their fireplaces can be installed anywhere with no need for additional ventilation. This ease of installation makes them a convenient choice for homeowners looking to upgrade their living spaces without the hassle of complicated construction or renovations. The process is straightforward and can be completed quickly, allowing you to enjoy the warmth and ambience of your new fireplace in no time. Additionally, the lack of a chimney or vent means that Planika fireplaces can be placed in a variety of locations, offering flexibility in design and layout. This makes them an ideal option for flats or homes where traditional fireplaces are not feasible.

Safe Combustion of Bioethanol Fuel

Even though not all Planika bio fires incorporate BEV technology, which is found in the automatic burners, a high level of safety is still maintained in their manual burners. All of Planika's manual burners are fitted with a microfiber material known as ceramic fibre cotton. This fibre cotton absorbs the bioethanol fuel, ensuring a uniform flame and containing the bioethanol within the burner if the biofire should be tilted.

Design

When it comes to design, Planika Fires' fireplaces are available in a diverse range of styles and finishes to complement any décor. From sleek and contemporary designs to more traditional styles, there is something to suit every preference. They also offer a variety of customisation options, such as different types of glass, fuel beds, and interior lighting choices, allowing you to create a truly bespoke fireplace that mirrors your style and tastes.

Sustainability

Planika Fires' fireplaces are designed to be energy efficient, with many models boasting efficiency ratings of 80% or higher. This means that most of the heat produced by the fireplace is directed into the room, reducing energy waste and keeping heating costs down. Their bioethanol fireplaces provide an eco-friendly solution as a renewable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional fuels, and they produce no smoke, soot, or ash, making them a cleaner heating option. This not only reduces the environmental impact but also ensures a healthier indoor air quality, free from harmful emissions. By choosing a Planika fireplace, you are opting for a product that aligns with sustainable living practices, contributing to a greener planet.

Planika Fires Technology

Fan-assisted combustion

Many of Planika Fires' fireplaces incorporate fan-assisted combustion technology, which enhances both the efficiency and heat output of the fireplace. This advanced system ensures that warm air is distributed more evenly throughout the room, providing enhanced comfort while minimising energy waste.

Electronic controls

Planika Fires' fireplaces are equipped with electronic controls, making them straightforward to operate and adjust. Numerous models come with remote controls, enabling users to modify the temperature and flame height comfortably from their sofa.

Automatic safety sensors

Planika Fires' fireplaces feature automatic safety sensors that continuously monitor both temperature and fuel levels to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. These sensors are designed to detect any irregularities, and if necessary, they can automatically shut down the fireplace, providing a safer heating solution for any household.
